Martin/Martin, Inc . Description Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a structural Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Structural Engineering Group in our Atlanta, Georgia office. This engineer will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of project types with many different structural materials. This position provides opportunities to gain experience in both new building structural design and existing building investigations and retrofits. Responsibilities include: Utilizing computer design and graphics software to complete project Construction Documents Studying and applying building code, material code, and jurisdictional requirements to complete design calculations under supervision Assisting in Construction Administration tasks such as checking submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting field observations Communicating and coordinating project design with clients, consultants, and contractors Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program Passed FE Examination 0-4 years of experience Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in engineering (Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related) High GPA (3.5+) Knowledge of building and material design codes Experience with design software (AutoDesk REVIT, RAM, SAP, ETABS, RISA, etc.) Strong communication and organizational skills Construction field experience Programming skills (Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, SQL, C#, C++, VBA) Benefits include: 401(k) with match and profit sharing Continuing Education Health, Dental, Vision, and Wellness programs Paid Time Off and Holidays Other perks and community involvement opportunities Martin/Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
