About the Role As an Escrow Assistant, you’ll serve as the right hand to our Branch Escrow Manager/Escrow Officer, ensuring every client’s experience is smooth, professional, and stress-free. As your skills expand, so will your responsibilities, from managing files and supporting closings to exploring outside business opportunities and leveraging innovative technology to drive results. Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
• Be the first friendly voice clients hear (phones answered before the 3rd ring!) • Deliver exceptional, concierge-level service to clients and walk-ins • Prioritize daily tasks alongside your Escrow Officer to keep files moving • Prepare, manage, and track escrow instructions, amendments, and opening packages • Order and follow up on title reports, demands, and hazard insurance • Assist with the signing, preparation, and distribution of loan packages and reconveyances • Handle recordings, file status reports, mail, banking, and closing of escrows • Step in and cover your Officer’s desk when they’re away — keeping the workflow seamless • Assist in developing new outside business by mining your existing escrow relationships • Occasionally, representing the company at real estate meetings and networking events • Leverage new technology and AI tools to streamline processes and boost efficiency • Be comfortable with social media to support the company’s presence and brand awareness Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For

2+ years verifiable escrow assistant experience
(required) • A true
customer service standout
with a passion for helping clients • Exceptional
organizational skills
and a strong attention to detail • Proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to thrive in a team environment • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and escrow/title software (Qualia a plus!) • Strong understanding of mortgage loans, title insurance, and real estate contracts •
Bilingual (English & Spanish)
strongly preferred • Mobile home/manufactured home escrow experience is a bonus • Current California Notary Public (or ability to obtain) • Must pass DFPI and DOJ background check • High school diploma required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred Compensation: $47,000 - $52,000 yearly
