The

Title/Escrow Assistant

is responsible for supporting daily operations through administrative tasks and exceptional customer service, serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take and deliver messages. Greet clients and guests warmly upon arrival. Deposit checks and complete cashier check verifications. Copy IDs for closings and prepare/assemble closing packages. Maintain the closing calendar and assist with scheduling. Make phone calls regarding file updates and requests. Assist with in-office closings and client communications. Handle walk-in customers with deed preparation or cash deals. Send out e-signing documents and mail-away packages. Warehouser Duties (if none assigned):

Send or mail all closing checks. Prepare signed documents for recording. Warehouse all files and ensure proper file management. Send out payoffs, packages, and scanned documents. Assist with post-closing follow-up tasks. Mail original deeds and deeds of trust. Specific qualifications for the position include :

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and deliver excellent customer service. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of experience in a Title Assistant or Escrow Assistant role. Proficiency with computers and title/escrow software; experience with Qualia is a plus. Pay Rate Range : $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
