NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is looking for a Director of Quality and Risk at our Indianapolis, IN location. NPH is the national leader in providing medical and neurobehavioral care to patients in acute psychiatric distress. You will be joining a team of dedicated staff who provide exceptional, patient-centered care and understand our patients are always our number one priority! The Director of Quality supports the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance measurements and audits, and assists in improving patient safety processes throughout the hospital by coordinating activities that promote evidence-based best practices and resolve deficiencies. The role involves planning, developing, and directing system activities and protocols across NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals, helping to prepare facilities for surveys by accrediting and licensing agencies, and serving as a resource to all departments and personnel. Implement and monitor quality goals to improve patient care and safety outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to identify opportunities for service improvement and cost reduction. Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with JC, OSHA, CDC, CMS, and other regulatory agencies. Prepare reports and analyze data for quality assurance and performance improvement committees. Assess and improve quality control programs annually. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop action plans to prevent recurrence. Coordinate patient care activities with a focus on quality improvement. Lead the Quality Council Committee meetings and provide ongoing staff education. Participate in mortality reviews and ensure staff are trained on relevant regulations and standards. Engage in multidisciplinary case conferences and monitor patient outcomes. Manage employee and patient exposure follow-up related to communicable diseases. Participate in root cause analyses and trend identification for adverse events. Oversee the Patient Advocacy program. Build and maintain relationships with executive leadership and department heads to foster a culture of quality. Promote a culture where "Quality is everyone’s business". Ensure compliance with ethical standards, patient privacy laws, and hospital policies. Stay informed of regulatory changes and adapt practices accordingly. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or related field required; Master's preferred. At least 3 years of experience in healthcare quality and risk management; leadership experience preferred. Excellent communication skills for presenting reports and collaborating with staff. Knowledge of clinical practices, performance improvement, and research statistics.
