Job Responsibilities
Assist in preparing monthly revenue models for HB and PB.
Prepare monthly analysis to evaluate the accuracy of NPSR calculations.
Assist in the preparation of Finance and Revenue budgets.
Support long-term modeling used by senior executives.
Prepare schedules for governmental reporting, including cost reporting and year-end audits.
Utilize decision support, patient accounting, physician database, and other systems to generate reports for decision-making.
Perform ad hoc analyses to support management inquiries and other projects.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
Participate in other department duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s or CPA preferred.
Four to five years of accounting experience; healthcare or physician practice experience is a plus.
Knowledge of financial statement preparation and journal entries.
Proficiency with accounting and budget systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
Position Details The Senior Accountant and Financial Analyst collaborates across the Finance Department, supporting month-end closing, revenue calculations, and financial reporting, reporting to the Reimbursement Manager and Executive Director of Reimbursement.
Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri, occasional weekends, no holidays, 8 am to 4 pm.
