General Superintendent
to oversee field operations and lead our teams to success. Position Overview The
General Superintendent
will provide overall leadership and direction for all field activities across multiple projects in the DFW area. This position requires a proven construction leader who excels at building and developing teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and with the highest quality standards. The General Superintendent will serve as a key liaison between project management, field personnel, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring seamless execution and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight of all field operations for multiple projects. Ensure compliance with Polks strict safety standards and drive a strong safety culture. Supervise and mentor Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff. Collaborate with Project Managers and Executives to align field operations with project goals. Oversee labor planning, scheduling, and manpower forecasting. Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement proactive solutions. Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and trade partners. Drive quality control and ensure adherence to Polk Mechanicals standards of excellence. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in mechanical construction. Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. Proven ability to lead large teams across multiple complex projects. Exceptional knowledge of construction safety, scheduling, and field operations. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams.
