Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities: Work independently to maintain and repair machinery Perform lubrication and cleaning of machinery parts Troubleshoot and repair various machinery including high-speed welders, conveyors, and palletizers Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Replace and repair gauges, valves, and pressure regulators Conduct building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep Assess and repair electrical issues Utilize CMMS system for logging labor/parts according to established expectations Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as required Participate in on-call program and additional off-shift work as needed Adhere to safety policies and procedures Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent - Technical degree in maintenance-related field preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in metal manufacturing maintenance Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing PLC experience preferred Proficiency in welding, cutting, and hand tools usage Experience in high speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission preferred Work Environment: The employee is frequently required to walk and stand for long periods of time. Physical activities may include stooping, kneeling, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and materials that may irritate eyes, skin, and breathing. Safety procedures and personal protective equipment are required. The employee will be working near high-speed automated equipment, requiring adherence to safety protocols. The work environment may be noisy, necessitating hearing protection.
