Description
This is a prime opportunity to bring your network expertise to a forward-focused team modernizing the infrastructure from the corporate offices of Express Employment International. In this role, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with hands-on experience working with Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies. Proficiency in monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and ThousandEyes is a significant advantage. This role requires someone with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructures.
This position sits within our Oklahoma City, based corporate office, with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies Manage F5 Load Balancers including iRules Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points to ensure optimal network performance and security Manage and troubleshoot Meraki SD-Wan environment Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as SolarWinds and ThousandEyes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other IT systems Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance Perform regular network assessments and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) At least 5 years of professional experience in network engineering KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES
Strong expertise in Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies. Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and ThousandEyes is a plus. Experience with DNS is desired Experience with Cisco ISE, Clearpass or other Network Access Control is strongly desired In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and security best practices. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable.
