Business Analyst Position
This candidate must be local to Madison since they will have to be onsite 5 days a week. Responsibilities of the Business Analyst position include (but are not limited to): Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation Assist in customizing and improving our ERP system (Acumatica) and related applications Organize and structure data across systems to enable more effective reporting and decision-making Participate in new product evaluations, testing, and implementation Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and document functional and technical needs Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights Automate workflows between systems to improve accuracy, eliminate manual re-entry, and streamline operations Develop data-driven strategies that align with business strategies and operational goals Preferred skills include: Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools, with a strong grasp of best practices for clear, impactful reporting. Exposure to process automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, etc.). Familiarity with API-based integrations and system interoperability. Experience working with or alongside ERP systems. Knowledge of data modeling, query languages (DAX, SQL), or basic scripting is a plus.
