executive leadership, investor relations, and treasury

in managing the financial performance of the company. Here are common responsibilities: Earnings Guidance & Forecasting

– They help develop, refine, and model financial forecasts that inform quarterly earnings guidance issued to shareholders and the market. SEC Filing Support

– While not directly responsible for preparing filings, they may contribute data and analysis for

10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks , and earnings releases, especially the

MD&A (Management Discussion and Analysis)

section. Capital Markets Analysis

– Analyzing market trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment to inform strategic decisions around

stock repurchases, equity offerings, or debt issuance . Investor Relations Support

– Working closely with IR to build

analyst decks, investor presentations , and FAQs for earnings calls, roadshows, or shareholder meetings. Valuation Modeling

– Running

DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction

analyses to understand and explain changes in valuation drivers and align internal forecasts with market expectations. Equity Compensation Modeling

– Supporting accounting and HR in forecasting

dilution impacts

from RSUs, stock options, and ESPPs, and modeling their effects on EPS. Scenario Planning for Strategic Decisions

– Modeling financial impacts of

M&A, divestitures, or capital structure changes , considering their implications for credit ratings and shareholder value. This role requires a solid grasp of

capital markets ,

financial modeling , and often collaboration with

treasury, accounting, and investor relations

to ensure that company messaging aligns with financial realities and market expectations. Seniority level
