General Responsibilities: The Critical Environment Specialist is responsible for maintaining clean and orderly conditions in controlled environments, including cleanrooms and technical areas. This role combines the structured cleaning protocols of the OS1 system with the strict contamination control standards of critical environments. The specialist must be flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of rotating through various cleaning specialist roles. Employees are assigned to one of the essential functions, rotating as cleaning specialists as needed. Schedule: Part-time Saturday & Sunday 5PM - 2AM Option to pick up extra shifts as well Pay:
$18 - $20 per hour Qualifications Overview: Works in controlled environments where strict rules and procedures must be followed to prevent contamination. Wear specific cleanroom garments while working for safety purposes. Follows and executes clients cleanroom SOPs and documentation. Performs proper cleaning methods such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning all work surfaces/equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings, and floors within a structured time frame. Willingness to learn new concepts to understand cleanroom techniques and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior fully always. Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift. Rotational/As needed re-assignment to other OS1 Specialist roles (collection specialist, restroom specialist, utility specialist, vacuum specialist, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment: Clean rooms, controlled environments and technical rooms that typically have positive pressure, are HEPA filtered, adhere to a clean working environment, and have specific ways to enter and exit the assigned work area. Gowns must be worn for the protection of the room and products. Temperatures are cooler than a normal office building with controlled humidity. Education and Work Experience Requirements: Ability to read, write and understand English. No experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right individual, but they must be detail and possess the willingness to learn new concepts and demonstrate the ability to perform highly detailed work. Due to cleanroom regulatory requirements, wearing makeup is not allowed to include fake eyelashes, drawn on eyebrows, fake nails, and nail polish (or any other makeup). Good hygiene skills required. Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.
