The roots of Martin Companies trace back to 1973 when Dennis & Geraldine Martin started in business trading as Martin Appliance Service. In addition to servicing household appliances, Dennis provided commercial refrigeration and water softener repairs on occasion. Over the years, the Lord blessed his customer service efforts, and the volume of work continued to increase and is still increasing today, giving us the privilege of serving thousands of customers throughout Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, and nearby regions.
The company is family-owned and operated by the Martin family, with a passion for serving others and customers in a God-honoring way. We strive to live out our faith by allowing the Holy Bible to guide our everyday decisions and influence how we serve our employees and customers.We provide training and resources to help employees continue growing both personally and professionally.

Job Summary - HVAC Install Technician
We are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Install Technician to join our team. This technician will install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills. This is a full-time position with available overtime.
Duties/Responsibilities
Install HVAC systems: Install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and thermostats in residential and commercial buildings. System inspection: Ensure systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes. Wiring and control setup: Perform electrical wiring, programming, and testing of control systems for HVAC units. Customer communication: Explain system operation and maintenance requirements to customers. Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identify and resolve any issues during installation and assist the service team as needed. Collaborate with team: Work closely with project managers, other technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate installation. Adhere to safety protocols: Follow safety procedures, wear protective gear, and comply with OSHA and company safety standards. Required Skills/Abilities
Detail-oriented and organized. Excellent problem-solving ability. Ability to follow highly complex directions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A professional demeanor and helpful attitude. High School Diploma or equivalent Experience of 3 - 5 Years in an HVAC position is preferred. Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times. Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and distinguish electronic system sections and wiring.
A successful HVAC Team Member will possess a great attitude and a servant's heart. We believe that the technical aspect of your role is essential, and we will provide a great deal of onsite training in this area. Your professional demeanor and attitude also play a tremendous part in the fit that you will be on the team. We are looking for a Team Member who can work within the team and take initiative independently of direct supervision.
