Lead Automation Engineer
responsible for leading or contributing to detailed hardware and software design of process automation control systems projects. This includes defining architecture requirements, developing software specifications, programming PLC, DCS, and SCADA applications, configuring server applications, historian databases, tuning control loops, and providing startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and qualification services. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects from concept through commissioning. You Will:
Design and develop control systems for varying complexities Evaluate and develop alternative system solutions Modify program logic involving multiple systems Gain proficiency in programming languages and control networks for PLCs, DCS Interact with customers to understand business needs and define project scope and plans Work effectively in a team, emphasizing customer service and continuous improvement Visit local sites and engage in documentation and planning within regulated environments You Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields 5+ years of experience or equivalent education Consulting experience Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems and understanding process controls Control system validation experience in pharmaceutical/biotech is a plus Experience with PLC (Rockwell, GE, Siemens, Modicon) and DCS platforms (Emerson DeltaV, Experion) Experience with Rockwell products and Ignition modules Experience with other SCADA/HMI packages (Proficy, Wonderware, TIA Portal) Experience with AVEVA PI Historian, SQL, Node-RED, and electrical design packages Knowledge of control system networks and biopharmaceutical processes Understanding of GMP, validation, and batch standards Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Benefits & Perks:
