We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior SharePoint Engineer
to lead the design, development, integration, and administration of our SharePoint environments. This role will be instrumental in modernizing our digital workplace, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our SharePoint infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience in integrating SharePoint with third-party systems and developing custom APIs to extend platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online and on-premises environments. Lead migration projects from legacy systems to SharePoint Online (M365). Develop and maintain custom solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), SPFx, and SharePoint Framework. Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to integrate SharePoint with external systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS). Utilize Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint REST API for advanced automation and data integration. Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Manage permissions, site collections, and governance policies. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff. Document architecture, configurations, integration flows, and procedures. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in SharePoint engineering, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016/2019). Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell. Experience with SharePoint migrations using tools like ShareGate or Metalogix. Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating SharePoint with third-party systems.
