Title and Summary

Senior Software Engineer F/T

Overview Assist with all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Role. •Responsible for gathering, understanding, and analysis of business requirements for new products. •Work with modern full-stack development practices and tools to create world-class microservices and web applications. •Deliver software operating at scale and plan, design and develop microservices. •Build and maintain full-stack applications and services using Angular, Java, and PCF. Deliver code with quality and security that operates at scale. •Perform code reviews, retrospectives, and approve Pull Requests using Git. •Collaborate with architects, software engineers, test engineers, TPMs, and PM-Ts. •Coordinate with DevOps on the design and maintenance of the build pipeline. •Provide technical leadership to software engineers. •Utilize 12-factorapp design principles in your development. •Ensure that systems created comply with Mastercard engineering best practices and governance models including security, operations, and Enterprise Architecture requirements.

About You •Position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent Information Technology, Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience in job offered, or as a Software Engineer, IT Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst, or related. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Ranges Arlington, Virginia: $159,000 - $254,000 USD
