Executive Assistant
We're looking for a highly polished Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a global engineering and consulting firm headquartered in Kansas City. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity intended to ensure a strong mutual fit with the organization's new CEO. The role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, coordinate high-level travel and meetings, and serve as a trusted right hand. Ideal candidates are proactive, poised, and thrive in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day executive support including calendar management, scheduling, and prioritization of tasks Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements Serve as the primary point of contact for the CEO's internal and external communications Manage meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-up for executive and board-level sessions Anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and act as a gatekeeper for the CEO's time and priorities Assist with projects and administrative tasks delegated by legal and operations leadership Liaise with senior leaders, board members, and global office locations Occasionally assist with light personal support or off-hours communications due to travel schedules Requirements:
5+ years of experience in an executive assistant role supporting C-suite or senior leadership Experience with project coordination or high-level administrative projects is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel Able to work fully onsite in Kansas City Professional appearance and business-savvy demeanor Comfortable engaging with high-level stakeholders MH123 MH456
