Administrative Coordinator

The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws. Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience in administrative services. Experience substitution: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. Job Duties: Serves as the agency's front-line support, processing all incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail, email, and faxes) and ensuring timely updates to LaMEDS case files and electronic systems. Assists clients in completing self-service portal updates, including Medicaid card requests, household changes, and updates to personal or financial information. Responds to general inquiries from the public via phone, email, and in person regarding Medicaid policies, case status, and the application or renewal process. Performs clerical and administrative tasks such as data entry in LaMEDS, document scanning and indexing, and re-assigning tasks to Medicaid analysts as needed. Supports agency operations by maintaining office equipment, inventory, and property records, and assisting with safety procedures and outreach events.
