CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented junior level Logistician with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation's safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity. What you'll get to do: Assist in Integrated Logistics Support efforts and service operations. Support senior team members in developing technical logistics products and participate in various aspects of logistics operations. Assist in maintaining and updating maintenance concepts and requirements. Support the management of repair parts, spares, and consumables inventory. Help gather system technical data. Participate in training programs for CBP and civilian personnel. Assist in packaging, handling, storage, and transportation tasks. Support customer service operations for field technicians and logistics partners. Help monitor the flow of goods and materials. Assist in gathering data for metrics and reports. Participate in research and data collection for project needs. Support the drafting of technical papers under guidance. Assist in monitoring cost and schedule of projects. Help respond to customer inquiries. Support the verification of product technical quality. Assist in the development of integrated logistics plans and other related documents. You have: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation. Applicable combination of education and experience: Junior Logistician P2: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in logistics or related field. Senior Logistician P3: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline and 5 years of experience in logistics or related field. Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Willingness to learn and grow in the field of logistics. Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VA. Bonus would be having: Some exposure to government logistics operations. Basic understanding of equipment lifecycle management. Familiarity with any of the following: Level of Repair Analysis Maintenance Expenditure Limits Qualitative/Quantitative Personnel Requirements Information Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data Lifecycle Sustainment Planning This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
