Pastry Cook
will be responsible for impressing clients with delicious pastry creations. Responsibilities include preparing quality pastry items such as cookies, cupcakes, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, simple syrups, and special request items. Responsibilities:
Decorate and present pastries and baked goods attractively. Prepare and decorate cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies. Consult with the Pastry Chef on desserts for special occasions. Follow and develop recipes. Prepare candies, mousses, sponges, ganache, and French pastries. Execute pastry orders for catered events and accommodate special requests. Create confectionery decorations and pastry fillings. Stay updated on new pastry techniques. Apply classic pastry techniques for traditional pastries. Monitor equipment to ensure tools are in working order. Perform other duties as assigned to support the business. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Associate degree in baking and pastry arts or similar preferred. Post-secondary culinary training advantageous. At least 2 years of experience as a pastry cook or baker. Creative in designing and decorating confections. Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings. Experience in catering or high-volume operations preferred. Working knowledge of computer applications. Benefits:
