We are seeking a Support Staff Member for our newly opened restaurant in Coral Gables. This is a full-time position requiring working during lunch and/or dinner shifts. Our restaurant has cultivated a culture of hospitality, hard work, and fun, led by a strong team in both BOH and FOH. Please see the job requirements below: Primary Responsibilities Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of the restaurant. Set and reset tables with clean cutlery, sharing plates, etc. Clear tables after guests, wipe tables with clean damp cloths or replace dirty tablecloths. Promptly clean tabletops, chairs, booths, and the floor around tables between guests. Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate these requests to the server as needed. Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry them to the kitchen for cleaning. Unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, and glassware for cleaning. Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties to facilitate customer service. Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchens or supply areas to serving counters. Clean up spilled food or drink, broken dishes, and remove trash. Assist in serving food to guests when needed. Promptly greet guests as they are seated and serve ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter. Thank guests as they leave. Maintain adequate supplies such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays. Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment, and mop or vacuum floors. Fill water or ice dispensers. Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and other supplies. Communicate with servers and hosts to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service. Inspect the restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and suggest improvements. Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guest needs and support restaurant operations. Fill in for colleagues as needed to ensure service standards and operational efficiency.
