Insurance and Reinsurance Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance and Reinsurance Attorney to join their team remotely. Candidates must be licensed in the state where they reside. Duties Represent international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on pre-underwriting risk assessments. Provide claim management and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S. Prepare for trials and manage courtroom responsibilities, including motion practice and depositions. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of practice experience in insurance coverage, medical malpractice, or mass torts. Proficiency in presenting complex liability and coverage issues in written form. Experience with e-discovery software. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of residence. Skills Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills. Strong academic credentials. Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
