Insurance Coverage Attorney
to join its growing practice in Seattle, Washington. This role is ideal for a motivated associate with 2–5 years of insurance coverage litigation experience. The successful candidate will represent and advise insurers in complex coverage disputes involving national and international claims. This hybrid role supports both regional and cross-border collaboration in a fast-paced and supportive legal environment. Location
Seattle, Washington Duties
Represent insurance companies in insurance coverage litigation matters Draft and analyze coverage opinions, pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery documents Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, and motion practice Advise clients on a wide range of insurance-related coverage issues Collaborate with legal teams across offices on complex insurance matters Participate in strategy development and case management for litigation and advisory matters Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of law firm experience in insurance coverage litigation Strong background in handling commercial insurance coverage disputes Prior experience with pleadings, motion practice, and discovery in litigation Ability to manage caseload independently while contributing to team-based work Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school Strong academic record required Certifications
Active license to practice law in the State of Washington Skills
Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Strong interpersonal communication and client management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Experience with trial preparation and trial attendance is a plus Compensation includes a competitive salary and full benefits package, with hybrid work flexibility.
