This facility is part of a leading integrated healthcare system featuring a high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit with a Level III NICU. Opportunity: ACLS, BLS, Board Certified, Board Eligible - OB/GYN

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity for an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join an established OB Hospitalist Team. The position offers the chance to work alongside experienced clinical support staff including LD RNs, Neonatologists, NICU APPs, Nurse Managers, and participate in medical education by supervising OB/GYN residents, fellows, and medical students.

Job Details:

  • Provide in-house obstetric care and total management of laboring and postpartum patients
  • Manage obstetric emergencies, deliveries, and unassigned OB/GYN patients
  • Round, enter orders, triage maternal patients, and cover emergency GYN consults
  • Work one-on-one with experienced clinical support staff
  • Collaborate with OBs, nurses, and Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians
  • Rotate 24-hour shifts (6-7 per month), including holiday coverage
  • Participate in a supportive and innovative environment prioritizing patient safety
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in OB/GYN required
  • Must be board certified or board eligible (with certification within 2 years)
  • Valid Michigan license and DEA required at time of employment
  • BLS and ACLS certification with maintained recertification required

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
