Opportunity: BLS, Board Certified, Board Eligible, DEA - Obstetrician/Gynecologist
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN physician to join a dynamic OB Hospitalist Team. The position offers approximately 6-7 shifts per month in a 24-hour coverage model, allowing for excellent work-life balance while providing critical maternal care services.
Job Details:
- Provide 24-hour in-house coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM shifts) and total management for obstetric patients
- Attend to labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and postpartum care
- Triage maternal patients and manage unassigned OB patients
- Cover emergency GYN cases as needed
- Collaborate with obstetricians, experienced LD nurses, NICU APPs, and social workers
- Teach and supervise OB/GYN residents, fellows, and medical students
- Maintain responsibility for rounding, entering orders, and attending deliveries
- Cover a minimum of 2 weekend days per month
- Participate in a rotating holiday schedule
- Must have experience with OB and GYN surgery (new graduates not accepted)
- Must be board certified or board eligible with certification within 2 years
Compensation:
