• Description: Specialty: PathologyLocation: Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital - 230 Hospital Plaza Weston WV 26452Start Date: November 3rd Contract Length: ongoingShift Details: Full time plus call coverageSchedule: Monday Friday 8am 5pm plus full-time call coverageAverage amount of Call Back: consists mostly of Blood Bank issues 1-2/weekWork Details: Support staff: Histology: 2 full time histotechs who gross biopsies and gallbladders attend FNAs performed by Radiology and Bone Marrows performed by Oncology few special stains done inhouse Immunohistochemistry performed by LabCorp with images available online.Main lab: Full time Lab system director with experienced senior tech for each department Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-timePatients per day: Patient population/age: Mostly adult rare pediatric peripheral smear reviews otherwise for peds specimens are tonsils and appendix.Department description: Level IV traumaEMR: Cerner / Paragon Hospital bed size: 70 bedsSpecial procedures: Skills required: comfortable with occasional frozen section cytology: urines Bronch washes and brushes pleural and ascitic fluids. Thyroid FNAs go to LabCorpPractice Setting: • Hospital Requirements: • Board Certification: required• State license required: required• DEA: required • Certifications preferred: • Certifications required: BLS ACLS • Minimum experience required: 1 year Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days Willing To License?: YES IMLC or providers that will qualify for the temp WV license only Shift Info: Day 5x8-Hour 08:00 - 17:00
