Imagine a place where your work can inspire change, helping patients reclaim their mobility after a major surgery or guiding a stroke survivor back to independence. As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you are more than a caregiver; you're a pillar of support in the most delicate chapters of life, nurturing not just physical healing but also restoring confidence and hope amidst life's challenges. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team in the thriving community of Lexington, Kentucky. This dynamic city is known for its southern charm, vibrant culture, and a community that embraces professional excellence in healthcare. If you yearn to make a meaningful difference and immerse yourself in a fulfilling environment, this is your chance to shine. Every day in this role is an opportunity to create lasting impacts. You will assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment plans to meet their individual needs. You'll implement evidence-based interventions focused on improving mobility, enhancing strength, and maximizing functional capabilities. Beyond direct patient care, collaboration is key - you will partner with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other skilled rehabilitation professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those you serve. Your role will also include educating patients and their families about therapeutic goals, planning for discharge, and guiding them through home exercise programs. Precision in documentation is essential, as is participation in team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences, allowing for a coordinated approach that fosters holistic recovery. To join our team, you need at least a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a related degree from an accredited institution. A state license is a must, while CPR certification is preferred. While specialized certifications in areas like geriatrics or neurorehabilitation may elevate your profile, they are not mandatory. Previous experience will set you apart, and we're eager for someone who can manage patients with varied medical and mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential as you'll be working closely with others and utilizing digital tools for charting and documentation. The benefits you'll enjoy are as robust as the support you'll provide. We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and opportunities for continuing education along with licensure reimbursement. Flexible scheduling and paid time off are also part of our commitment to promoting a supportive and rewarding work environment that prioritizes work-life balance. In your day-to-day activities, you are not just a practitioner but a cherished guide on the path to recovery. Whether it's assisting a patient through the challenging moments of rehabilitation or helping someone rediscover the joy of movement, your work has the power to transform lives. We're searching for a Licensed Physical Therapist who embodies empathy, understands the healing properties of human connection, and thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting. Whether you're starting your career or bringing a wealth of experience, if you value collaboration and evidence-based practices, we want you to join our community. This role isn't merely a position; it's a calling. In this vibrant city of Lexington, Kentucky, you'll be surrounded by motivated professionals and a spirited culture that fosters growth. Let's work together to elevate your career while making significant contributions to the lives of those in need. Join us, and be a part of a journey where you help others move forward while advancing your own path toward fulfillment and purpose.
