Credit Dispute Specialist Position
TEKsystems is currently searching for qualified candidates for a Credit Dispute Specialist position with a Fortune 100 company in Winchester, VA. The job description includes receiving credit card dispute inquiries from members and providing guidance regarding existing claims. The role involves reviewing, researching, and resolving new credit card dispute claims through processing chargebacks, pre-arbitration, or pre-compliance cases with other financial institutions through the VISA network. The specialist will respond to member inquiries from contact center and branch personnel, resolve member disputes directly with merchants, and assist members by reviewing and understanding documentation provided by members and merchants regarding contracts, contract estimates, and terms and conditions. The position requires remaining alert and informed of threats to account security, counterfeit operations, and stolen cards, and resolving basic and routine issues. The role works under direct supervision and requires time management skills, the ability to work independently with little supervision, previous clerical, technical, and/or administrative experience, and the ability to redirect attention as needed to changing queues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work accurately with numbers are essential. Location, Schedule, and Work Environment Hybrid work environment - 2 days onsite and 3 from home Must be within commuting distance to Winchester, VA Monday - Friday schedule from 8am - 4:30pm EST Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr.
