Principal Product Manager

Echodyne is seeking a Principal Product Manager with experience in complex hardware and software products to join our team working in a fast-paced environment, developing high-performance commercial radar solutions. The Principal Product Manager will help develop the EchoGuard, EchoFlight, and Accessory Ecosystem roadmaps and act as the voice of the customer, developing clear product requirements and championing the product vision across the organization. Responsibilities

Engage with external customers, partners, and radar integrators to understand exact use cases Collaborate with customers and technical teams to define radar (hardware and software) and accessory ecosystem feature roadmaps that align with business needs Prioritize and group features to align with product release cycles Create detailed and effective customer product requirements for application and embedded SW releases Clarify and communicate the What and the Why across the organization Serve as the voice of the customer to represent their interests throughout the product development cycle Collaborate with the development team to write, review, and iterate design documents and task descriptions to ensure architectural consistency, product quality, and a rapid release cadence Work with program management office to ensure and maintain the soundness of the program plan, risk, timelines, and costs Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Solutions Engineering in the feature go-to-market process Other related tasks required to fulfill the needs of the business Required Skills / Experience

Experience working with complex software-defined hardware such as sensors, radios, or autonomous platforms Experience in software development best practices and tools for tracking development and for capturing requirements, experience with JIRA, Confluence, and JAMA preferred Experience in customer discovery conversations that identify the problems to solve and translating those into technical product requirements Capability of understanding complex technical problems to simplify experiences, and innovate on behalf of users Managing multiple products or product lines simultaneously Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team Ability to analyze complex requirements, workflows, and problems to develop and communicate rational execution plans Experience in bringing products to market and managing the overall product life-cycle Desired Skills / Experience (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)

Experience with the development of User Interfaces for controlling complex systems and display of real-time data Experience with working in the Counter-UAS field, or related industries Experience with deployment of radar or other mission critical systems in commercial and/or DoD end-user solutions
