Senior Project Manager
on behalf of our client, a well-established leader in large-scale industrial construction projects across the
Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions . This opportunity is ideal for a strategic project leader with extensive experience in managing complex capital construction initiatives within a heavy industrial environment. This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel and hands-on project oversight. You’ll be instrumental in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, aligning execution with client expectations, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end management of large and/or cross-functional heavy industrial construction projects Interpret project scope and cost data to align objectives with contract specifications and client goals Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring ongoing communication, alignment, and customer satisfaction Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring milestones, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers, field supervisors, and subcontractors Monitor budget adherence, review cost-to-complete reports, and validate change orders and procurement plans Direct all project documentation processes including schedule tracking, contractual compliance, and cost reporting Coordinate billing, timesheets, material/resource allocation, and invoice submissions Conduct project walk-throughs with clients and stakeholders to track progress and address concerns Support process improvements and performance evaluations across projects under your direction Education, Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 15+ years of experience in heavy industrial or environmental construction, including leadership of large, multi-discipline projects Strong understanding of construction financials, estimating, scheduling, and technical execution Proven ability to manage diverse teams and subcontractors in dynamic, fast-paced environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management platforms; Primavera P6 knowledge is a plus Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills with a focus on team collaboration Commitment to safety, quality assurance, and delivering exceptional customer service Willingness to travel frequently and stay onsite for extended durations as needed Benefits & Compensation:
