Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Transportation
Location:
Rosemount, MN
Metric Geo are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a partnered reputable contractor, to lead multi‑disciplinary teams on heavy civil and transportation projects in the Minnesota region.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from planning through completion, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
Oversee budgets, costs, schedules, and change orders.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and client communications.
Develop and implement project execution, safety, and quality control plans.
Participate in regulatory meetings and contract negotiations as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in heavy civil or transportation projects.
Strong knowledge of budgets, CPM scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS, AASHTOWare, or Primavera/P6 preferred.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
