Job Title: Physician - Hematology Oncology Facility and Practice Overview

Join a well-established multispecialty group practice in Ashtabula, OH, affiliated with the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. This practice features over 60 employed providers, including 21 in primary care, providing a supportive environment for your professional growth. Ashtabula Regional Medical Center invites you to explore this dynamic opportunity as a Hematology/Oncology Physician to impact patient care positively.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage 15-20 outpatient visits and 3-5 hospital visits per day.
  • Flexibility in scheduling with a full-time negotiable plan.
  • Be on call for 10 days per month, including some weekends.
  • Work primarily in an outpatient practice setting.
  • Care for a patient demographic that is 50% adult and 50% geriatric.
  • Focus on 25% hematology and 75% oncology cases.
  • Collaborate with 2 other physicians in practice.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient record management.
  • Credentialing process is expected to take 30-60 days.
  • Live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate.
  • Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology (REQUIRED)
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Oncology (REQUIRED)
  • Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (by start date) (REQUIRED)
  • DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) (REQUIRED)
  • Experience with procedures including VAD/CV catheters, FNA/biopsy, and chemotherapy (REQUIRED)
  • Experience with duties such as participation on a tumor board and ordering tests/images (REQUIRED)
  • Must be willing to relocate within 40 miles (REQUIRED)
  • Relevant information on visa support (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements
  • Valid Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain)
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology
