Job Description
Our client, a hospital located near Bloomington, IL, has a need for several Radiology Techs to join their team. They have several different shifts available.
Up to a $12,000 sign on bonus!
Conducting imaging exams primarily for inpatients, with some outpatient exams. Emergency and Trauma Patients: Performing imaging exams for patients in emergency and level 1 trauma situations.
Surgery/Sterile Department: Using fluoroscopy with a C-Arm to perform exams in surgical or sterile environments. Portable Exams: Conducting imaging exams both portably (i.e., moving equipment to the patient) and within the imaging department.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept : Computerized patient charting system-EPIC and image data Change Healthcare PACS. Carestream, GE and Philips imaging equipment. OEC Surgical imaging equipment.
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Will look at new grads;
They perform patient intake by collecting medical history and must be able to answer patient questions regarding the imaging procedure. They follow specific instructions from providers on what areas to image and guide patients through the imaging process safely and comfortably. In addition, they operate imaging equipment proficiently, have a firm understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body, demonstrate knowledge of proper imaging techniques (i.e. positioning and technical factors) in special populations such as children, the elderly, and patients with debilitating conditions and may confer with providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborate to determine whether additional images are required.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: ARRT, IEMA, BLS
Shift or schedule requirements: The employee will always work with other partners and will never be alone. This position does not require the employee to be on call. Weekends and holidays are covered on a rotating basis.

Main Department-Inpatient 5 diagnostic rooms, 6 portable units.1 Panorex unit
Emergency- 2 fixed rooms, 2 overhead mount Trauma rooms, 1 portable
Surgery-11 C-arms, 2 O-Arms, 2 portable units.
Outpatient located on campus- 3 rooms.
