One of the following primary modality registries/certifications is required:
Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Sonography (S)
One of the following post-primary modality registries/certifications is required:
Mammography (M), CT, MRI, Bone Densitometry (BD), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Breast Sonography, Vascular Sonography (VS)
Must-Have:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
Basic computer experience required
Excellent customer service experience required
Description:
The Multi-Modality Technologist will competently function in two or more modalities within the Imaging Department.
Responsibilities include performing various diagnostic procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art computerized imaging equipment in multiple modalities.
Requires flexibility to work competently within assigned modalities as needed.
Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers by coordinating and prioritizing procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care.
Possess the ability and willingness to rotate within departments for proper coverage as needed.
Upon completion of procedures, program the computer to ensure completion of the exam and all scan data is correctly stored.
Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked before exams and comply with Infection Control standards.
Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
Perform duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients.
Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate the unique needs of each patient served.
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards as outlined by regulatory entities.
Demonstrate adherence to core values.
Perform other duties as assigned.
