Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Profession: Ultrasound Tech

Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Level 1 or busy Level 2 trauma center. Consideration for new graduates on a case-by-case basis.
License: ARDMS, ARRT, CCI preferred.
Certifications: RVT, RDMS (AB), RDMS (OB/GYN), RT(S), RT(VS), CCI (RVS) for pediatric techs.
Must-Have:
Experience with GE-9, GE-10, and PARKS Unetix.
Experience with EPIC and McKesson.
BLS certification.
Experience working independently.
Training in vascular preferred.
Description:
General job duties include conducting various ultrasound procedures such as General, OB, Gyn, and Vascular Ultrasounds.
No procedures are required for travel techs.
Equipment utilized in the unit includes GE-9, GE-10, and PARKS Unetix, as well as electronic charting and medication systems.
Some postings may require techs to work alone, particularly at outpatient sites and during certain shifts.
Weekend availability is required for specific postings.
Floating to outpatient sites may be necessary for certain roles.
The facility is a large hospital with approximately 640 beds.
Please note that training and orientation will vary based on the posting and the patient population served may include different settings.
Candidates must understand the facility has a drug-free policy and must produce a negative drug screen.
