About The Position
Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty License: Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: Minimum of an Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or graduate from an accredited Allied Health Program. Call commitment is 1 week night and 1 weekend per month. Description: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals who perform diagnostic examinations at the request or direction of an Interventional Cardiologist. They conduct invasive cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures. Through subjective data collection and recording, the technologist obtains information that leads to a correct anatomical and physiological diagnosis for each patient. Local candidates from ineligible counties are no longer being accepted. No floating to other units is required. The facility has a specific number of beds.
