About The Position
Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for this role. ACLS, BLS certifications required. Cardiovascular Technologists or Radiology Technologists preferred. Description: The position is for a Cath Lab Tech. The facility has a total of 33 beds and 23 staff members. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 3:1. The type of equipment utilized includes MacLab, GE, and Philips. Documentation is managed through a Meditech system. Call requirements may include evenings and weekends. Typical procedures performed include coronary catheterizations, interventional coronary cases, structural heart procedures, and peripheral interventions. Candidates should be team players and critical thinkers. Compassion and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential. The dress code is scrubs, either personal or provided.
