Key Responsibilities:

nn

• Scrub into endovascular cases to assist surgeons during procedures
• Operate and maintain c-arm equipment in open rooms for vascular surgeons during open vascular cases
• Run and maintain Siemens equipment during cases
• Use PACS to pull up imaging for procedures
• Perform laser assisted procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, aortography, embolization, and endograft placement procedures
• Support inferior vena cava filter placement and removal procedures
• Assist with mesenteric angiograms, pelvic angiography, and renal angiography
• Support selective visceral angiography and stent placement procedures
• Perform carotid stenting and central venous access/port placement procedures
• Assist with dialysis graft creation/revision and interventions
• Support endovascular interventions and upper/lower extremity angiography
• Perform thrombolysis/thrombectomy procedures
• Conduct fluoroscopy and ultrasound imaging
• Maintain and stock equipment and supplies
• Set up equipment and prep access sites
• Maintain sterile field and technique during procedures
• Use vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Follow isolation precautions protocols
• Provide accurate monitoring during procedures
• Work in two endovascular hybrid suites in the operating room
• Take call one night per week and every third weekend
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Use Epic documentation system and Pyxis medication system
• Complete required pre-start and annual modules and training
• Report to work during storm team/hurricane team assignments as needed

Job Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered license in NC
n
• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
n
• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
n
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
n

• State-required professional license

• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)

• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)

• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)

• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations

• Must pass background check and drug screening
