Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Columbus, OH 43210
Job Type: 13-Week Travel Contract
Shift: 4x10 Days (06:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Position Summary: We are seeking two experienced and skilled Radiologic Technologists (RTs) with a strong background in surgical imaging to join our dedicated OR Imaging Team. This position is ideal for professionals proficient in C-arm and O-arm operations, looking to further their expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time intraoperative imaging using C-arm and O-arm equipment.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in surgical and perioperative settings.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other OR staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain imaging equipment.
- Adapt to rotating weekend shifts and take on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
- Must be willing to float to other locations or units of equal acuity if needed.
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ohio State Radiologic Technologist License (or ability to obtain upon submission).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical/OR setting.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital required.
- Strong proficiency in using C-arm and O-arm – must meet competency at level 3 or 4 (Hard Stop).
- Must be reliable and cooperative with the credentialing process, including urgent completion of Ohio fingerprinting requirements.
