Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/02/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Shift: Nights, 8-hour shifts (8x5) Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Duration: 13 weeks Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Histology specialty Certification: ASCP required Department Overview: Pathology, Cytology, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) all handled in department Receives surgical specimens, accession into Cerner Collects tissue blocks from Pathologist Assistant (PA) staff Processes tissue, embeds, cuts, and stains slides Key Duties: Specimen accessioning & processing Embedding and microtomy Slide staining and preparation Adherence to laboratory quality control standards Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 major holidays out of: Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year's Day 1 minor holiday out of: Friday after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve New Year's Eve Contract Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Total Contract Weeks: 13 About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
