Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support interventional radiologists in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in operating imaging equipment, administering contrast agents, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists with image-guided procedures such as angiography, balloon angioplasty, and stenting.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized imaging equipment.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient response.
• Maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and radiation protection standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year with angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty, and stenting.
• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  
  • Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license (Diagnostic Radiography).
  • One current advanced-level ARRT certification (any one required):
    
    • ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology
    • ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
    • ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
