Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA (MUSC does not accept NCCT)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years; strong preference for Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), Robotics (DaVinci Xi)
• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center experience highly preferred
• Radiation Badge: Required (must be provided by agency)
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Local Radius Rule: 60 miles (locals accepted at 10% lower rate)
• RTO: Must be submitted at time of submission (strict policy)

Unit & Facility Details

• Setting: Level I Trauma, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
• Hospital Size: 820 staffed beds
• Operating Rooms: 21 OR suites covering Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU/GYN, Robotics
• Team Mix: ~75% RNs, 25% CSTs (RNs scrub and circulate)
• Common Cases:
  • Ortho (joints, spine, trauma)
  • Neuro (crani, spine)
  • ENT (flaps)
  • Robotics (DaVinci Xi)
  • Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN, Transplants
• Charting: Epic
• Scrubs: Provided
• Parking: $20 one-time fee for garage hang tag

Other Notes

• Floating: May be required within scope/like units
• On-call: No
• Block Schedule: Possible with manager approval
• Holiday Requirements: Must rotate holidays per facility policy
• Hurricane Season: June-Nov; staff may be assigned emergency duties
