Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures:
- Head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities
- Biopsy/drainage procedures
- Perform venipuncture for injections, operate power injector, administer IV contrast per physician orders
- Perform 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation
- CT scans for inpatients, outpatients, and ER
- Additional imaging duties:
- Basic radiographic procedures
- Fluoroscopy
- Portable radiographic procedures
- C-arm procedures and OR imaging
- Maintain knowledge of:
- Processing CT systems
- Surgical/sterile techniques
- Contrast and non-contrast studies
- Cross-sectional anatomy

- ER: GE 16-slice Brightspeed
- Main Department:
- GE 64-slice VCT
- GE 16-slice Optima 540
Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in a similar setting
Certifications:
ARRT (CT) required
State general radiographer license required
BLS and CPR (AHA) required
