The restaurant accomplishes all the traditions expected from a steakhouse, offering the finest cuts of premium beef and seafood, complemented by a cutting-edge wine and spirits program, and using local farmers and purveyors to highlight the region's finest ingredients. Prep Cook Responsible for preparing all prep production for kitchen stations and assisting service. Performs basic cooking procedures and all mis-en-place, requiring knife skills and technique. Maintains consistent excellence in work product. Sets up and breaks down stations. Manages time and tasks according to the daily prep list. Operates effectively as part of a team, communicates clearly, and ensures smooth service operations and quality service. GENERAL EXPECTATIONS: Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of Mina Group and MG-FSLV, LLC, dba BOURBON STEAK. Ensure all guests feel welcome and receive responsive, professional, and gracious service at all times. Maintain clean and organized workstations aligned with the restaurants philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence. Identify or seek areas for staff and restaurant improvement and offer positive solutions for change. Operate daily with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative. Understand all programs, procedures, standards, guidelines, and training materials thoroughly. Understand the management and owners philosophy. Demonstrate consistent attention to detail and adherence to restaurant policies. Represent the restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation, and relationships with all business partners. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least 2 years of kitchen preparation experience in a fine dining restaurant. Effective communication skills with management, guests, and staff. Ability to stand for long periods (minimum of 8 hours daily). Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds. Minimum of 40 hours work per week.
