Senior Oracle OCI Services and Solutions Architect
to assist with the design, review, and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings. The role involves working closely with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that cloud architectures and environments are efficient, secure, and compliant with industry best practices and frameworks. This position requires hands-on experience in cloud architecture, operations, and management, specifically within Oracle OCI, and the ability to review technical solutions for both accuracy and fiscal alignment. Key Responsibilities Design, review, and implement Oracle OCI solutions and services. Collaborate with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, and internal teams to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient architectures. Create diagrams, design documentation, and reference models for cloud solutions. Perform reviews of proposed changes and projects with a focus on security, controls, and compliance. Ensure cloud environments align with business priorities and are optimized for enterprise operations. Implement, migrate, and manage operating systems/applications within enterprise cloud environments. Work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and deliverables. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years in IT with significant cloud architecture experience. 3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle OCI (cloud services, operations, and architecture). Experience with implementing, migrating, or managing enterprise cloud environments. Experience with cloud native technologies (containers, serverless workloads, functions, DBaaS). Familiarity with cloud networking architectures including virtual networks, VPNs, subnets, network security groups, load balancers, etc. Experience performing security and regulatory reviews (NIST, PCI, CJIS, FedRAMP, etc.). Experience with scripting/build tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform) and configuration/monitoring tools (Fleet Application Management, Puppet, OCI Monitoring, Splunk). Certifications: Education: College degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Candidate Requirements Must be local to Virginia and able to work
on-site 4 days per week . Willing to attend
in-person interviews . Candidates requiring relocation
