We are seeking a
Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect
to join our enterprise cloud transformation team. This hands-on role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep experience in OCI, multi-cloud architecture, and secure enterprise migrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions across diverse client environments while ensuring compliance with industry and government standards. Key Responsibilities: Architect and manage OCI-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions across high-security environments (DoD/FedRAMP-compliant). Lead cloud migration efforts from on-premises to OCI, including Exadata and Oracle Autonomous DB. Implement security frameworks using OCI-native tools: Cloud Guard, IAM, Bastion, Threat Intelligence, Key Management, and Security Zones. Configure and maintain OCI networking: VCN, FastConnect, Subnets, DNS, Load Balancers, and Cluster Placement Groups. Automate infrastructure deployments using
Terraform ,
Ansible , and OCI Resource Manager. Administer Oracle Middleware (WebLogic, HTTP Server, OIC), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). Deploy and manage
Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)
and containerized applications. Provide database support for Oracle DBCS, ATP/ADW, Exadata Cloud Service, and Data Guard implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HCM Cloud integrations, HCM Extracts, and BI Publisher reports. Drive cost optimization through OCI Budgets, Cost Analysis, and Cloud Advisor. Monitor and troubleshoot environments using APM, Logging Analytics, and Ops Insights. Act as a technical lead, mentor junior engineers, and provide documentation and knowledge transfer. Required Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in IT with 5+ years in cloud architecture and OCI. Expertise in Oracle technologies including Autonomous DB, DBCS, Exadata, WebLogic, OIC, and ODI. Strong scripting and automation experience (Terraform, Ansible, Shell scripting). Experience with container orchestration (OKE, Kubernetes, Docker). In-depth understanding of IAM, SAML, MFA, and cloud governance. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. Proficiency in Linux system administration and performance tuning. Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.\ Preferred Certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional (2021 or later) AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect CompTIA Security+ CE (or in progress) ITIL Expert Certification Nice to Have: Experience with DoD cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., 8140/8570, NIST 800-53). Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Apache Kafka, GoldenGate, and Striim for data integration. Multi-cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP. Seniority level
