Senior Counsel, Labor and Employment

to lead our global legal strategy in labor and employment matters. This role reports directly to the

Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer/Assistant General Counsel, Labor & Employment . The ideal candidate will be a collaborative legal leader with deep expertise in employment law, talent strategy, and risk mitigation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, mentor legal team members, and partner with our People & Culture and Ethics & Compliance teams. Strategic Legal Guidance:

Provide business-focused legal counsel on all aspects of People, Culture, and Talent to minimize legal risk and protect the company's reputation. Policy Development & Compliance:

Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to develop and implement employment-related policies across global markets. Insider Risk Mitigation:

Work with security, privacy, and data protection teams to advise on insider threats and vulnerabilities. Litigation Oversight:

Manage employment-related litigation, oversee outside counsel, and resolve pre-suit demands. Training & Education:

Conduct training sessions on employment law compliance and legal trends. Labor Relations:

Support collective bargaining and union-related workforce matters. Investigations:

Lead internal investigations into employee grievances, discrimination, harassment, and misconduct. Global Collaboration:

Coordinate across regions to ensure cohesive legal and talent strategies. Leadership & Mentorship:

Lead and develop the legal team, fostering an inclusive culture. Stakeholder Engagement:

Align employment strategies with public relations and communication objectives. Reporting & Risk Insights:

Provide updates to senior management on legal risks and litigation insights. Location

Atlanta, Georgia. Limited relocation assistance may be available. Requirements & Qualifications

J.D. and active membership in a U.S. or international bar. 10+ years in labor and employment law, preferably in a large law firm or corporate legal department. Expertise in domestic and international employment law. Experience managing employment litigation and outside counsel. Knowledge of employee relations, workplace culture, and collective bargaining. Experience with HR policy development globally. Proficiency in workplace investigations and compliance. Understanding of cross-border employment issues. Ability to draft employment contracts and advise on employment law. Strong project management, communication, and strategic skills. Comfort working across time zones and with global stakeholders. Regulatory Compliance, Labor and Employment Law, Leadership The Coca-Cola Company will not sponsor employment visas for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Pay Range: $236,000 - $271,000. Benefits vary by location and role. Annual Incentive: 50% of base salary, performance-based.
