Manufacturing is evolving, and Saint-Gobain North America is leading the way. We are launching an 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program to empower engineers to shape the future of manufacturing, known as Manufacturing 4.0. This program combines classroom learning, hands-on operational experience, and networking opportunities, preparing you for a dynamic career in manufacturing. Program Summary
The program offers a full-time operational role at a Saint-Gobain manufacturing plant, with quarterly travel to other sites in North America. Activities include site projects, E-learnings, and travel, with a start each July and an 18-month duration. Upon completion, most graduates can choose from multiple final placement roles across Saint-Gobain's extensive network. Job Responsibilities
Providing engineering support for process improvements. Supporting capital projects and new equipment installations. Supporting safety and sustainability initiatives. Implementing automation processes. Analyzing manufacturing processes for inefficiencies and cost reductions. Qualifications
B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Internship or professional experience in manufacturing is a plus. Valid passport required for international travel to Canada. Candidate Qualities
Willingness to travel and be mobile. Desire to learn and grow outside comfort zones. Ability to work well in teams and communicate effectively. Note: Immigration sponsorship is not provided due to program timing. Exposure and Mentorship
Participants will travel quarterly to different plants, gaining broad business knowledge and building camaraderie. Mentors will guide your career development, and you'll work on impactful projects challenging your skills. Impact and Global Opportunities
