Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Distribution System Engineer located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. A transition to work from home is possible based on level of experience productivity goals attainment. The Distribution System Engineer will be responsible for consulting on distribution systems automation techology projects, specifying requirements for Operations Technology systems, evaluating OT vendor proposals, providing technical support to customer teams and supporting business development activites for ESTA proposals. The role also involves designing and implementing systems improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Occasional domestic and international travel can be expected. Qualifications 5 to 10 years of cumulative experience applying Systems Engineering, Design, Planning and Operations skills desired Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment Experience in the energy sector is a plus Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. Masters degree in relevant fields a plus. Seniority level
