RPA UiPath Developer

BAE is seeking an experienced RPA Developer to support our Government Partner on related activities including stakeholder management, coordination with the system engineers and ISSOs. In this role the candidate will design, develop, maintain, and deploy automation solutions within a FedRAMP-compliant GovCloud environment. The ideal candidate will have had hands-on experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, and a strong understanding of RPA frameworks. In addition, the candidate should understand best practices for development lifecycles. The candidate will work closely with business analysts, SMEs, engineers, customer and contract leadership, and cyber compliance teams to automate key business processes across the enterprise. Examples of key applications and services that would integrate with the RPA ecosystem include Microsoft O365 Suite, ServiceNOW (ITSM, Service Catalog - Multiple Portals), Atlassian Suite (JIRA/Bitbucket/Confluence/Portfolio/Core Software), SharePoint, and other internal custom applications to be revealed at a later time. A successful candidate will be responsible for: Designing, developing, testing, and deploying RPA bots to automate repetitive and rules-based business processes within a secure FedRAMP environment. Building and maintaining RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath. Ensuring all automation solutions align with FedRAMP and other cybersecurity guidelines. Integrating RPA solutions with enterprise systems, services, and applications (e.g., cloud services, databases, APIs, internal applications) while maintaining data integrity and security. Collaborating with system owners, security, infrastructure, and other distributed teams to ensure automation scripts pass required CM processes. Maintaining thorough documentation for bot designs, development activities, code reviews, and deployment procedures. Conducting RPA bot monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance tuning in accordance with SLAs and system uptime requirements. Implementing access controls, data protection, and encryption in line with security baselines. Staying current with RPA best practices, updates, and emerging technologies and challenges related to automation. Required Education, Experience, & Skills: Bachelors degree or equivalent credential from recognized institution + 4 years of experience developing and deploying RPA solutions. Proficiency in at least one RPA platform (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism). Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments with a familiarity of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and/or RMF (Risk Management Framework). Proficient programming/scripting knowledge in .NET, Python, JavaScript, VBA, and low-code concepts. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) in FedRAMP-authorized environments. Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a Public Trust or higher-level clearance. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: Proficiency with the UiPath RPA suite. Cloud (AWS or equivalent) experience/understanding. Certification in RPA tools (e.g. UiPath Certified Developer). Experience integrating bots with REST APIs, databases, or legacy systems. Working knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), logging, monitoring, and audit trails. RPA development best practices. Pay Information: Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
