Primary Function
The Territory Sales Manager Southeast will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the business plan and sales strategies for our premium line of high-efficiency water heating products within their assigned area. This role involves managing the activities of the Representative Agencies within the territory, and direct contact with various plumbing industry-related customers, shows, and events. The candidate will collaborate with the National Specialty Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager to create and execute strategies to drive specification, adoption, and sales of high-efficiency water heating products, focusing on Heat Pump, Condensing Tank, and Tankless technologies within the residential building market. The customer base includes Plumbing and HVAC Contractors, Contractor Groups and Associations, Home Builders, distribution companies, and others. The position requires managing existing and established territories and accounts, while driving growth and market share acquisition. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan in collaboration with National and Regional Management, outlining objectives, target markets, and tactics to monitor and ensure effective sales strategies within the territory. Coordinate with National Management and work with Representative Agencies to execute tactical plans, focusing on Residential New Construction and Remodel Contractors. Implement and measure training programs for high-efficiency products to promote adoption of Heat Pump, Condensing Tank, and Tankless technologies. Monitor sales targets and guide Representative Agencies to achieve goals through tactical plan execution. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share using tools like Dodge or other platforms. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distribution teams, and contractors to maximize sales and loyalty. Track and report on training and adoption metrics to ensure market share growth. Research new market opportunities and potential customers. Provide solutions aligned with customer needs and collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to maintain brand consistency. Stay informed on new products, competitors, and industry trends. Prepare sales reviews and forecasts quarterly and annually. Qualifications
5+ years of customer-facing sales experience. Bachelor's degree (MBA or technical preferred). Experience in sales within Plumbing tankless, heat pump water heating markets. Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce CRM experience is a plus. Education
